SPEAKING FOR OUR COMMUNITY

We as the GLBT community need to take the word marriage out of Equality and call it a Civil Union! BECAUSE WE AS GLBT FOLKS ARE USING THE WORD MARRIAGE WE ARE LOSING OUR BATTLE TO OUR MOST DESERVED RIGHTS. This is because the Religious Right is Right...we as people can have the same securities and rights as married couples but it needs to be called CIVIL UNIONS for GLBT folks! Civil Union

The real assault going on in this country is that of self proclaimed "Christians" who are trying to force everyone in the country to live according to the tenets of their religion. If the majority were truly interested in protecting the "sanctity" of marriage they would be clamoring for a federal ban on divorce, not gay marriage.
